If you have a community event, church announcement, or any type of non profit group announcement, Towpath Radio has a great platform to get word out to the community and it’s often free for other non-profits!

NWO Community Media Inc. Policy: Towpath Radio Event Advertising

Policy Overview:

1. Free Advertising:
   NWO Community Media is committed to supporting non-profit organizations by offering complimentary advertising for their events. This includes promotional mentions on our radio station and website, announcements, and other public service announcement services as deemed appropriate.
2. Non-Profit Responsibilities:
   To facilitate a collaborative relationship and enhance mutual visibility, we request that non-profit organizations assist NWO Community Media in the following ways:
   • Social Media Posts: Include Towpath Radio’s name and logo in relevant social media posts about the event.
   • Signage: Display Towpath Radio’s logo and acknowledgment on event signage, if applicable.
   • E-Blasts: Mention Towpath Radio in e-blasts or newsletters sent to your donor base, acknowledging our support.
3. Reciprocal Promotion:
   By agreeing to this policy, non-profit organizations help strengthen the partnership and support community engagement. This reciprocal promotion ensures that Towpath Radio can continue to offer valuable advertising services at no cost to non-profits.
4. Submission Guidelines:
   Non-profit organizations wishing to utilize Towpath Radio’s advertising services should provide the following:
   • Event details, including date, time, and location.
   • Promotional materials (e.g., flyers, social media graphics).
   • Any specific acknowledgments or mentions that should be included in our announcement.
   • Submit information in body of e-mail or word document. Flyers are welcome however information needs to be typed out separately.

How to send press releases:

Send your press release to contact@nwocommunitymedia.org. It’s best to get information to us a week to two weeks in advance. Please send and corresponding images that could go with your story, but please make sure they are free and clear to use (no copyright). Announcements will also be mentioned in the broadcast.
