NWO Community Media has been scouting Northwest Ohio for the latest 2023 Holiday related events. If you have a community event, please send it to contact@nwocommunitymedia.org.
Towpath Radio will start playing Christmas music on Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19. We will go ALL Christmas music that weekend, and then go back to normal on Monday with some holiday tunes mixed in. Towpath Radio will go ALL Christmas again on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Saturday, December 2
Whitehouse Holiday Celebration – The Village of Whitehouse is celebrating the holidays on Saturday, December 2. A visit from Santa, activities for the kids (starting at 4 p.m.), Christmas Village 5K and Reindeer Kids Run (4:30 p.m.), Hot Chocolate from General’s Ice Cream, Toy Drive, Holiday Parade (6 p.m.), and Annual Whitehouse Tree Lighting!
Friday, December 8
Grand Rapids Christmas Sing-A-Long 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. – The second annual Christmas Sing-A-Long will be happening at Grand Rapids Town Hall. Sing holiday tunes and watch a performance by Defying Gravity, plus a skit! More info here.
Merry in Malinta – from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Malinta Historical Society. Explore art activities, taste handed down recipes, enjoy Christmas Music, and a visit from Santa.
Saturday, December 9
Light Up The Night 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. – The Village of Grand Rapids will be hosting Light Up the Night including Christmas music, horse drawn carriage rides, children’s activities, dining, shopping, and an evening parade. More info here.
Sunday, December 10
Cultural Christmas Celebration at the Four Corners Heritage Center at 7-051 County Road M (Grelton) – from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Explore art activities, taste handed down recipes, enjoy Christmas Music, and a visit from Santa.
Saturday, December 16
Holiday Hoopla at Sunlight Church and Community Center 19920 Sand Ridge Road, Weston – 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Everything you need to feel the festive spirit, from games and special gifts to a totally epic cookie bake-off and ugly sweater contest. Plus a visit from SANTA! Come for the entire time or just show up for some festive photos and a quick hello.
