Grand Rapids Area Elections Results

Unofficial election results are in for the Village and Township of Grand Rapids.

The Wood County Board of Elections reports 100% of the vote has been counted for the following contests:

Village of Grand Rapids Mayor: Incumbent John Berry wins with 200 votes or 53% of the vote to David Fowler’s 176 votes or 46% of the vote.

Village of Grand Rapids Council: Both Rick Tolles and Rachel Smith will hold on to their seats that were challenged by Peggy Seab and Angela Studer.

Grand Rapids Township Trustee: Randolph Bachman defeats incumbent Rita Foos with 402 votes or 60% of the vote to Foos’ 266 or 39% of votes.

Grand Rapids Township Fire Levy fails with 355 (51.75&) voters voting against the levy to 331 (48.25%) for the levy.

Grand Rapids Township Cemetery Levy passes with 390 (56%) for the levy and 297 (43%) against.

Otsego School Levy fails with 1,788 (52.11%) against the levy and 1,643 (47.89%) for the levy.
