Grand Rapids Plans Eclipse Activities

The Village of Grand Rapids will be celebrating the total eclipse on Monday, April 8.

According to the chamber, shoppes and restaurants will be open and ready to serve, most shops are typically closed on Monday.

There will also be performances by New Moon Trio from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Front Street.

Viewers can expect totality to be anywhere from 3:10 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. The partial eclipse could begin as soon at 3 p.m.
