Help Towpath Radio Get On FM! 2k Raised So Far!

What could a new FM station do for our community? Community announcements, promotions, entertainment, news, ALL LOCAL (no corporate!)!

Towpath Radio is going to FM 98.7 soon but to get there we need help raising enough funds to purchase our equipment and get it installed. We have the FCC license in hand, and we’ve officially hit our first $2,000 raised! Our goal is $15,000, which will cover equipment, installation, and tower rent for the first few months.

We can do this together! Donations also help our day-to-day operations which include our current internet stream, music licensing (which is expensive), shows like Live from the 60s, and M2X Communications internet to keep us flowing online! (Our internet stream will still be available once we go to FM).

Now might not be a good time for you to donate, that’s totally fine. We understand! Things are tight! You can help in other ways, for example, telling your friends, your boss, or just sharing this will help get word out. This is grass roots, and you’re part of it!!

We’ve attached 2 photos. One is a picture of the tower we’re licensed to use. This is an old AT&T long lines cold war era tower that’s located at Country Road P (near Poe) and Henry Wood County Line Road northeast of McClure and southwest of Downtown Grand Rapids Ohio. The second is our projected coverage area, it’s not huge but our consultant projects it will put us in the ear of just over 130,000 people, not including those who drive through the area.
