Today, we’re turning up the volume on something that truly makes our town special—Community Radio!
In a world where big corporate radio dominates the airwaves, Towpath Radio has become heartbeat of our town and surrounding towns, bringing us together in ways that only a small-town station can. Whether it’s the morning news, promoting our town, enhancing the voices of our area non-profits, or bringing light to community issues; community radio is where our world comes alive.
So, let’s show some love for local radio today! Towpath Radio is currently running internet only but we have the license to get to F.M. We’re proud to have been able to check off many local radio boxes that most streaming internet stations can’t. Just imagine what we can do when we go to F.M.!
Just imagine a small town like Grand Rapids having its own F.M. radio station!
You can help us get there, so far we’ve raised $4,000 in our quest to reach $10,000-$15,000 to purchase the equipment and fund our tower rent.
