Living History Day is This Sunday at the Wood County Museum

The 21st annual Wood County Living History Day is Sunday, August 25, at 2:00 pm.
The event will take place on the Wood County Museum grounds. Local residents will portray citizens of Wood County.
2024 honorees were chosen to honor past educators in Wood County. The Living History Day event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Museum’s parking lot. Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket. In case of inclement weather, the program will be moved inside the Museum’s meeting room.
2024 Honorees are:
MYRTLE BECHTEL- (4/1/1893-6/11/1983) School Teacher for 50 years, Piano Teacher, Started North Baltimore Children’s Toy Band. PORTRAYED BY: Agatha Wren Hickerson
ETHEL KEEP BERLIN– (6/28/1910 – 1/27/1997) Artist, Co-Owner and Teacher of Art Studio, Wife, Mother. Portrayed by Adriane Weisert
ARCH B. CONKLIN– (5/14/1889-5/28/1970) Teacher, Superintendent of Bowling Green Schools, Dean of Students, Bowling Green State University. Portrayed by: Rev. Dr. Jeff Schooley
LOLITA THAYER GUTHRIE- (9/14/1925-11/16/2015) Wife, Mother, Teacher, Volunteer, dedicated Genealogist. Portrayed by: Judy Guion-Utsler
