Towpath Radio Community Tree Lighting to Spark the Holiday Season in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, OH — The holiday season in Grand Rapids officially begins Friday, November 21, as the community gathers for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the old fire station. The event begins at 7:00 p.m. and marks the start of the village’s beloved Christmas Open House weekend, happening November 22–23.
Neighbors and visitors are invited to join in the celebration as the lights twinkle to life, filling downtown with warmth, music, and holiday cheer. Free hot chocolate and cookies will be served to all who attend, adding to the small-town charm that defines Grand Rapids during the holidays.
