Towpath Radio Kringle 98.7 Brings Christmas Cheer to Grand Rapids

A little holiday magic has arrived in Grand Rapids! Starting this Friday and running through December 29, 98.7 FM is flipping to “Kringle 98.7” — an all-Christmas music takeover hosted by a mysterious white-bearded visitor known only as Kringle.
According to a note left in the Towpath Radio studio, Kringle is using 98.7 FM as his temporary holiday headquarters while he “checks on a few important lists.” He brought along a huge stack of Christmas records from the 60s through the 80s, plus a handful of newer favorites he personally recommends.
Kringle 98.7 promises a wide and fun mix of holiday music with fewer than four minutes of commercials per hour, making it the perfect soundtrack for decorating, baking, shopping, hosting family, or searching for Christmas lights around town.
Towpath Radio’s regular oldies format will continue streaming online, so listeners who aren’t ready for Christmas music can still enjoy their favorites at TowpathRadio.com, on the Stream 419 App, the Get Me Radio TV app, or by asking Alexa to play Towpath Radio.
