Support Towpath Radio Through the 2026 Here for Good Shirt Campaign

Grand Rapids, Ohio — 98.7 Towpath Radio, Sweet 419, and River Rat Country are once again part of Jūpmode’s annual Here for Good program, the primary fundraiser that helps keep the stations operating year-round.

The listener-supported fundraiser helps cover the real costs of running community radio, including music licensing, streaming services, and other day-to-day operational expenses. 98.7 Towpath Radio is operated by NWO Community Media, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Grand Rapids, Ohio, and every part of the operation is powered by volunteers.

This year’s limited-time shirt design leans into a classic 1970s vibe, celebrating the station’s retro spirit and community roots. The shirts are available through Jūpmode during the annual Here for Good campaign and cost $20 with $10 being donated to station operations.

Unlike traditional media organizations, 98.7 Towpath Radio does not rely on aggressive advertising or large sales teams to keep the lights on. In fact, the entire behind-the-scenes operation is handled by just one person, with additional help from volunteer contributors who believe in the mission of local, listener-first radio.

Instead of sales pressure, the station relies entirely on listener support and community pride. When listeners purchase a shirt through the Here for Good program, they are directly helping keep local independent radio alive in Northwest Ohio.

Jūpmode created the Here for Good program during the 2020 lockdown to help struggling businesses and organizations raise money. Over the past six years, the program has raised more than $423,000 for over 1,000 organizations, nonprofits, and small businesses.

The 2026 Here for Good pre-sale runs from March 2 through March 22, and the 98.7 Towpath Radio shirt is available for a limited time during that window.
