Red Cross Blood Drive in Grand Rapids April 9 Aims to Address Critical Shortage
Written by Towpath Radio on March 28, 2026
Grand Rapids, Ohio — The American Red Cross will host a community blood drive on Wednesday, April 9, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church.
Organizers say the drive comes at a time when blood supplies are critically low, and donors are urgently needed to help meet ongoing demand.
As a thank-you, those who donate will receive a Red Cross T-shirt, and Hosanna Lutheran Church will provide a slice of homemade pie to each donor.
The event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to participate. For more information, contact Gloria Kutchenriter at 419-215-5416.
