Community Theater Returns with New Comedy Show “But, What If?”

Written by on April 14, 2026

Tontogany, Ohio – The Tontogany Revitalization Committee is bringing back its popular local cast for a brand-new live production, “But, What If?”—a comedy show filled with imaginative and humorous takes on “what could have been” in the area.

Following the success of last year’s Tontogany Murder Mystery – A Ghostly Encounter, organizers say audiences can expect another night of original jokes and community-driven entertainment. The show will take place May 8 and 9 at the Tontogany American Legion, with doors opening at 7 p.m. and performances starting at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and available via cash or Venmo, with proceeds supporting ongoing revitalization efforts in the village. Snacks and dessert will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own beverages.

Organizers say the event is another example of the strong community support that helped make last year’s 150th anniversary celebration a success, and they’re inviting the public to once again be part of the experience.
