Rhythm on the River Returns August 2

GRAND RAPIDS, Ohio — The Grand Rapids Historical Society’s Rhythm on the River Arts Series continues Sunday, Aug. 2, with a free performance by The Four of Us.

The concert begins at 4 p.m. at the Wright Pavilion, located along the towpath between the canal and the Maumee River behind LaRoe’s Venue.

The Four of Us features Lori Lefevre, Lisa Young, Chris Buzzelli and Kevin Eikum, performing a blend of jazz, vocal harmony and popular music. Members of the ensemble have performed with groups including the Toledo Jazz Orchestra, 6th Edition, the Monroe Big Band and the Toledo Symphony.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the outdoor concert. If rain is in the forecast, the performance will be moved to the Old Fire Station on Front Street.

Admission is free and open to the public.
