GRAND RAPIDS, Ohio — American Legion Post 232 is inviting the community to its monthly fish fry on Friday, Sept. 18, with proceeds supporting the post and its veterans programs.
Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m., or until sold out, at the post, 12580 S. River Road in Grand Rapids.
The $15 fish dinner includes fried fish, a baked potato, salad or coleslaw, a roll and butter. Desserts and beverages will be available for purchase. The post is also offering a $12 chicken strip dinner with fries and sides.
The event coincides with National POW/MIA Recognition Day, honoring U.S. service members who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action. The American Legion encourages the community to remember those who have not returned home.
Meals are available for dine-in or carryout. The event is cash only, with an ATM available on site.
