Notice from Grand Rapids Regarding Storm Damage

Public Notice:

The Village will continue to remove storm damaged trees out of the roadway, due to the storm last night.  The remaining debris will be picked up starting next week to allow ample cleanup time over the weekend.  Residents will have until Tuesday (September 3^rd) to place tree limbs by the curb for collection.  Please be patient as this pickup may take longer than normal. 

Please do not bring brush to the Administration Office and please follow the brush pickup guidelines.  The Village will go around and chip limbs that are less than 4 inches in diameter, place limbs in small piles with all cut ends facing in one direction.  Limbs need cut so they are straight as possible.  If not, they will not go through the chipper.  Small brush and limbs must be in bundles.
